Background

I was born in Gunabacoa, Cuba in 1978. My family immigrated to the United States when I was four years old and I was raised in Miami, FL. I attended a local community college and a public university and after graduation moved to Chicago, IL for graduate school in 2004.

Education

I am presently a fifth-year Psy.D. student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology starting internship in Sept 2008. I earned a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in the summer of 2006. I earned a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology with Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University in 2003 and an Associate in Arts Degree with Highest Honors with Distinction from Miami-Dade Community College in 2001.
